Mighty Literacy Bash: Help Us Write Our Next Chapter!
For 17 years, Mighty Writers has empowered children across Philadelphia, Camden, Kennett Square, and Atlantic City through free literacy programs and essential resources.
This year, our annual fundraiser holds special meaning as we look ahead to an exciting new chapter. While we've faced challenges, the incredible support of our community has helped us move forward with renewed hope and determination. Programs are now fully operational in Camden, literacy programming has resumed in Northeast Philadelphia, and we're working to bring even more opportunities back to the children and families we serve.
Join us on November 20, 2026, for our annual Mighty Literacy Bash as we celebrate our impact, honor inspiring community leaders, and raise critical funds to build a stronger, more sustainable future for Mighty Writers.
This year's honorees:
- Leo Neal – Mighty Writers alum, published graphic novelist, and Glyph Award winner.
- Andre Saunders – Philadelphia poet, hip-hop artist, author, and educator.
- Marc Lamont Hill – Author, activist, professor, and television personality.
Food and beverages will be provided.
Every ticket, sponsorship, and donation helps us expand opportunities, restore programs, and continue empowering children through literacy.
Our next chapter is already taking shape. Be part of the story as we turn the page together!
