MW Camden is located in the Waterfront South neighborhood of Camden, across the street from Sacred Heart Church; it was the first MW location in New Jersey. During the school year, join us for daily after-school Writing Academy (grades 3-8), teen workshops and volunteer opportunities, programming, and bilingual and toddler classes. MW Camden East is located in the William Stanley Ablett Village housing community. Founded in partnership with the Housing Authority of the City of Camden, MW Camden East offers our flagship Academy After-School program to students in grades 3 through 8. We also have summer camp, volunteer opportunities, and food and literacy distribution.

Mighty Writers is a class 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2009. One hundred percent of the programs we offer are free. We serve communities in and around Philadelphia, PA, as well as in Camden, Newark and Atlantic City, NJ. We also run writing workshops in Washington Heights, NYC.
